It all started when Jamie reached out to me about buying a home. Jamie and I went to high school together and she has seen my experience with homes over the years and knows that I'm no rookie. Many of my clients that I work with reach out to me on social media and I love being able to help them, it definitely helps me feel safer doing this job meeting up with people I know than just strangers. Jamie and her husband Cade bought their first home in 2017 and their family has grown in it.
Through the years they have done some beautiful updates. Throughout the home they put in this beautiful wood-like tile and painted it a soft neutral color, SW Eider White.
In the living room, they swapped out the fan to this cute trendy black fan, painted the fireplace white, and installed a new mantle.
The kitchen had the most work done in the house. They kept the oak cabinets stained and that was a good choice. Oak is a hardwood relative to a maple or alder wood and so it is more durable, it also costs more due to the quality. The updated the hardward, replaced the island, installed quartz countertops, new backsplash, light fixtures, appliances, and sink. The cooktop is gas which is a pretty popular way to cook in Oklahoma. Slide to see the updates of the kitchen below.
The dining room is located next to the kitchen and you'll see they even updated the chandelier above the table. Because there are large windows in the dining room, it brings in plenty of natural light in the kitchen during the day.
Just this last year, Jamie and Cade paid for an expansion to their back porch poured. I think it was a great idea since majority of the porch is covered, it allowed for some extra space to not be covered.
The primary bedroom is very spacious, something we don't always see with homes this size. The house is about 1,602 square feet.
